If you can function as an anchorage of positive thoughts for your children, it will help your kids get the needed support to persevere their dreams and aspirations. Even though they might have their internal motivation to drive their goal, emotional support from parents is more important to them. For them, having their parents on their side is a great emotional backup that lights up their path towards success. Never should you get in their way in a negative manner, nor should you put forth any negative view on their aspirations and life goals. Give them the encouragement to stand up for their ambitions, and when times get tough, support them wholeheartedly.
